Seb Goldswain is a South African guitarist, composer and performing artist best known for his virtuoso guitar playing and high-energy stage presence. Armed with either an acoustic guitar or an electric guitar and a Marshall stack, Goldswain has the rare ability to wow audiences at many of South Africa’s top Rock, Jazz and popular festivals, and entertain crowds with nothing but his compositions, electric stage-presence and dazzling guitar playing. At the age of twenty two, Seb has already performed in Austria, Greece, the UK and the United States, and has performed his original music at many of South Africa’s top music festivals, including Splashy Fen, White Mountain Festival, The Grahamstown National Arts Festival, The North Coast Festival, Spogweni Festival, The UNISA International Jazz Festival, The UKZN Youth Jazz Festival and the Durban International Blues Festival. His musical influencers include Steve Morse, Joshua Redman, John Coltrane, Frank Zappa, Stevie Wonder, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Tommy Emmanuel, Chet Atkins and his music sounds like Tommy Emmanuel, The Dixie Dregs, Jimmy Herring.
